Road construction
Wanty is known and recognised primarily for its road construction business, which is its core activity and where the company began. As well as its large fleet of machines of all sizes, which are among the most modern in the market and suitable for all types of sites, and its flexible teams with their expertise accumulated from decades of experience, Wanty stands out from the competition in the extent to which the different functions required on road construction sites are wholly integrated within the Group. Complete communication between the different specialist drivers and total control over the entire supply chain and over waste disposal make Wanty one of the most respected companies in the sector.
Motorways, local roads, car parks, housing estates and public open spaces are all included in the programme of Wanty’s road construction teams. The business has changed considerably in recent years, with increasing emphasis on the aesthetic appearance of roads. Coloured surfaces, traffic calming, gateway effects, pedestrian crossings, etc. are all part of today’s road construction vocabulary. Developments in which Wanty has been involved and has excelled from many years.
